I suspect this is another case of number spoofing for scamming purposes.
Spotting fake M&S Bank fraud alerts
Summary — +443459000900
Expert Opinion
Stay alert: calls from +443459000900 often masquerade as M&S Bank representatives. Victims report a mix of polite voices that instantly know recent transactions, yet many end by demanding personal or banking details. The number is frequently spoofed, so even if the caller sounds genuine, treat it as potentially fraudulent. Hang up immediately if asked for passwords, card numbers or to confirm payments, then contact the official M&S Bank customer service line printed on your card or statement. Keep a record of the call and report it to Action Fraud. Regularly review your bank alerts to spot unauthorised activity.

A text message supposedly from M&S Bank stated that the 0% purchase rate would end on October 31st, and instructed me to call this number with any queries; however, the message and link were clearly a scam, and I advise against clicking on links to contact the bank
Bank services from M&S
A woman, who sounded very polite, claimed to be from M&S bank. This was after a previouse attempt to scam me on a fake GOV-UK website, which was unsuccesful. I didnt provide her with any information. I contacted the M&S fraud line and they confirmed it was not genuine.

M&S Security called after my card was declined. They knew my address, date of birth, and details about the declined transaction. They explained it was due to fraudulent attempts and are sending a new card. I’ve destroyed the old one.
Our experience with this number involved receiving letters with demands for payment, accompanied by threats of daily interest, and a subsequent letter from a supposedly reputable company, which we believe to be a sophisticated scam.
This is the fraud detection team from M&S Bank. They requested some security information regarding my account but were already aware of attempted transactions on my card earlier today. I contacted the bank afterwards and they confirmed that the call was legitimate.
A man with an Indian accent claimed to be from M and S, but he seemed unaware of my details and asked for my credit card information, which raised suspicions of a scam.
Is this M&S?
Yet another call from what seems to be M&S, this time from a different number.
A caller claiming to be from Marks and Spencers mentioned a suspicious transaction on my account. He provided personal details like my name and address, making it appear legitimate. The number seemed genuine, but when I refused to share my credit card information, he hung up. After contacting Marks and Spencers, they confirmed no such contact was made, confirming this was a scam.
A man with what I think was an Indian accent introduced himself as Napoleon and claimed to be calling from M&S. He spoke to my husband, who doesn't have an M&S account, and wanted to 'verify details,' raising red flags. My husband refused to engage and told him that M&S would need to send us a letter. The caller attempted to persuade my husband to return the call on the M&S number, but we declined, aware of the 'open line' scam. I am convinced this was a scammer.
A call from this number claimed to be from HSBC's Fraud Detection department, with the caller knowing the last four digits of my card; however, the legitimacy of the call was questionable, prompting me to request an email instead.
This number is not authentic, although it resembles one linked to a bank card. Be cautious! Block these scammers!
Legitimate M & S call. They asked me to contact the number on the back of my card, which I did after verifying. It was about a £10 transaction that triggered security concerns.
They called today, 06/05/2020, claiming to be from M&S, reminding us to stay safe and saying they’ll send a letter about system changes. If the letter arrives, it’s going in the bin.
Today, I was contacted by 03459000900, claiming to be from M&S. It's important to note that banks will never call you. Scammers can easily spoof numbers. Always hang up and find your bank's contact number from your documents, taking your time to do so (at least an hour, not just a few minutes). Never disclose your bank details, even if the caller sounds polite. Scammers could be very well-educated. Even if you expect a call from a bank or building society, it might still be a scammer pretending to be your bank.
