A loud call centre from India asked for a name that wasn’t mine or anything similar. They didn’t wait for me to find out what they wanted, but it would have been unwelcome.
A caller claiming to be from Citizens Advice, using the number 07365340790, said they were contacting me on behalf of DRS about alleged debts I supposedly owed. I replied that DRS is actually a Formula 1 term meaning Drag Reduction System, which seemed to confuse them. I noted that my local Citizens Advice office is nearby and certainly not staffed by anyone with an Indian accent. I blocked the number.
