Following a life insurance comparison, I received a call that was not followed up with a voicemail, prompting me to block the number.
This was a call centre pushing life insurance options. They were polite enough but it wasn't something I was interested in. Neutral experience overall.
I recieved calls from this number and another with a similar pattern, the latter foolishly leaving a voicemail, which sounded like a scammer call centre, and after trying to call back, I noticed the line was acepted instantly but a dial tone was played, indicating a recorded call, and considering my recent life insurance purchase, I beleive this is a life insurance scam, as suggested by other comments.
Following a brief conversation, the line went dead after merely a few secondes. It appears to be a suspicious life insurance company, judging by other comments, which coincides with my experience of receivng quotes from compare the market last month.
