On a crisp morning in late summer, reports flooded in about unsolicited calls from this number, often masquerading as telecom support. Punters describe automated silences followed by broken English from apparent foreign call centres, claiming ties to EE or Three networks. These tactics scream scam, aiming to extract passwords or personal details for identity theft. One account even links it to broader harassment and blackmail schemes. Block the number straight away and never share info over unsolicited calls. Report to Action Fraud to help authorities track these nuisances. A call came through, silence on the line, then the line was quickly dropped. I saved the number to test WhatsApp—both WhatsApp and Snapchat were active. It appears they've been harassing a friend, hacking and extorting, which explains how they obtained my number (they claimed to have called me in an email). My friend is being blackmailed and I fear I may be next. Please stay vigilant; this is extremely dangerous!
