Debt Scam Alert: Don't Share Bank Details!
Summary — +447418366066
Expert Opinion
Screen every incoming call from unknown numbers before picking up, especially those claiming debt issues. These reports paint a clear picture of scammers posing as debt advisors or investigators, often with non-native accents, fishing for bank details like sort codes and card numbers under false pretences of security checks. Silent hang-ups suggest they're verifying active lines for later targeting. Block the number immediately and report it to your provider or Action Fraud to curb wider spread. If they persist, log details without engaging—never share personal info. Staying vigilant protects your finances from these phishing ploys, as legitimate firms won't pressure for details upfront.
