Received a text about account closure due to moving. I had closed my NWL account the day before, so it's genuine.
Got a message from this number on 2 January 2025, pretending to be from Northumbria Water, mentioning mains cleaning from 21.11.24 to 13.12.24. Didn’t respond. No water problems during that time, and Northumbria Water usually texts from a verified number. Seems like a fraud. Avoid replying—better to be cautious.

The indivijual claiming to be from a northern water company was unconvincing, due to their inability to spell or construct a coherent sentence, which raises suspisions.
This number supposedly represents Northumbrian Water, urging me to call back with a reference number to make a payment. Typical nonsense from these scammers -- get lost! This is utter rubbish. Stamper is clearly enabling this.
