This site's report claims TPS doesn't log this for landline calls. Bollocks to that. It just buzzed my landline and scarpered without leaving a message on the answerphone.
The call was barely audible with heaps of background racket at first, then after my hello, they used my first name and tried discussing a life insurance policy I supposedly hold—which I don't. Legit insurers wouldn't ring from an 07 number, so definitely a scam.

Keep getting harrassed by this so-called 'life insurance' lot. Following my brother's lead, I've saved it as 'Scam' in my contacts. Next time they ring, I'll blast the radio and stick my phone to the speaker!

They rang asking if it was (my name), then quizzed me on my life insurance policy with them. That 'is that correct?' bit always raises my suspicions. I asked their affiliation and learned it's Connect & Save Life Insurance, linked to several partners. I said I was working and couldn't chat about insurance. They wanted a better time, so I asked for a site to check later. They pointed to connectandsave.co.uk. A quick search shows it's a call centre for providers.
