A call rang at 18:10 on a Saturday, the bloke introduced himself as Jason and asked if we’d reported any property damage to the council or landlord that hadn’t been dealt with. He seemed unsure whether we were dealing with a council or private landlord, which raised my suspicions, so I asked who he worked for and he hung up. Looks dodgy – probably a scammer hunting cases to sell a “service”.
