A representative rang me out of the blue, claiming they wanted to mail a brochure about wills and associated fees. I told him I wasn’t interested as my workplace has in‑house solicitors. He then asked whether I needed a single or joint will and assured me no financial details would be requested. I repeated that I didn’t need their service and he abruptly hung up – very rude, seemingly an attempt to extract personal data.
