I kept getting calls about my mortgage, extremely rude and pushy – definitely a scam, so I blocked them.
The caller claimed to be checking whether I have a mortgage and wanted to release equity on my house. It sounded like a property‑related money‑grabbing scam, with repeated calls from different mobiles. They even tried to arrange a later call from another number. Very rude and abrupt – best to ignore.
Their favourite line was that they were from a repair team; I didn’t engage, hung up, and blocked the number.
