I received a message from this number and, after reading other comments, got concerned. It turned out to be from the holiday park I booked via Hoseasons; a quick call confirmed it.
Royal Mail parcel scam – how to spot the fake
Summary — +447537416555
Expert Opinion
Stay alert: unsolicited texts claiming missed parcels often hide fraudulent intents. These messages typically mimic Royal Mail or other couriers, use urgent language, and request a small payment – often £2.99 – via a shortened link. Never click unfamiliar URLs or share personal details such as your address or postcode. Verify any delivery by checking the tracking number on the official Royal Mail website or calling the known customer service line, not the number in the text. If the message feels scam‑like, block the sender, report it to Action Fraud and delete the communication. Staying sceptical and confirming through trusted channels keeps you safe from dangerous fraud attempts.
