Expert Opinion
Earlier today, a wave of calls from +447833893418 has left many feeling uneasy. Callers repeatedly claim to represent Citizens Advice, a government debt scheme or a council debt team, yet they vanish when pressed for details. Never share personal or banking information with unknown numbers, and always verify any alleged debt through official channels before responding. Use your phone’s block feature and report persistent harassment to Action Fraud or the Information Commissioner’s Office. If a call sounds like a pressure tactic, hang up and log the incident. Keeping a record of dates, times and exact wording helps authorities investigate and protects you from future scams.
