Expert Opinion
People are saying they keep getting messages about huge voucher prizes that turn out to be scams. The pattern points to a spoof operation that harvests personal details through surveys and then pressures victims with repeated texts or calls. Guard your personal information and never share banking data with unknown callers. Use your phone’s built‑in call‑blocking feature or a reputable app to silence the number, and report the activity to your carrier and to the FTC or local consumer protection agency. Verify any offer directly with the legitimate retailer’s official website before clicking links. Staying vigilant is the best defense.

By reviewing the last two pages of comments on this thread, you may grasp why we are continually harassed by these fraudulent attempts. There are contributions that describe how to report scams directly to the police fraud database, why blocking them is ineffective, and other relevant information. Scammers aim to keep this information secret and often succeed because most people are disinclined to take action. This is why they find amusement in our plight and continue their schemes without fear of being reported. When a scam succeeds (which occurs far too often), they quickly shift to a new number while using the same tactic. UNLESS YOU REPORT THESE THEFT ATTEMPTS, THEY WILL CONTINUE!!

Unfortunately, I fell for a scam after following a TikToker who shared a link. They then sent me a message with a link promising a prize, which led me to block their number. I hope I didn't go too far in this situation. 🤦🏻♂️
