Insurance from Life Search. Phoned after a comparison site lookup. Legit paperwork arrived via Legal & General. Kept calling but it's not fraudulent.
Compare the Market Follow-Up?
Summary — +447883289310
Expert Opinion
Proceed with caution if calls from this number catch you off guard, as mixed reports suggest both legitimate insurance outreach and overly aggressive tactics. Predominantly, it's linked to LifeSearch, a broker contacting after Compare the Market queries for life insurance, often sharing personal details like mortgage info. While genuine in many cases—backed by follow-up docs from providers like Legal & General—the persistence borders on harassment, with multiple daily calls despite opt-out requests. Some flag it as scam-like or unrelated issues, but evidence leans towards sales pressure rather than fraud. Block if unwanted, report to ICO for data breaches, and double-check contact preferences on quote sites to avoid surprises.

Assisting with setting up my fresh life insurance, only just received the documents! Completely genuine.
I looked up life insurance quotes via Compare the Market, made sure to untik the phone and text boxes 100%, and confirmed email and post were the only options. Didn't finish 'cause work started. Roughly an hour on, this lot rang - called themselves life search, super pushy even after I explained I was busy at work and couldn't chat. Since they ignored my no-phone-contact wish and wouldn't take 'bad time now' for an answer, I've blocked 'em. From other notes, they're awfully insistent and hard to confirm as legit since it's a mobile not listed on any company site. Best to be wary before committing to owt!
They alleged illegal use of my internet. This line ought to be terminated at once, with the operator facing charges.
Came from a life search on compare the market insurance quote. Begged to be removed from their list multiple times. Those sales blokes are way too aggressive and keep pestering. Proper pain.
Picked up, said hi, caught some mic rustling, then they dropped the call – no clue, but couldn't care less.
Definitely not fraudulent - this is LifeSearch's line. Their advisors contact you to arrange life insurance following quote searches on comparethemarket. They're quite insistent, but genuinely legitimate
Related to car insurance. Sounded like overseas with a poor line.

Life insurance pitch via Compare the Market. Not fraudulent, but they're bloody persistent.
Fraud alert—attempting to peddle insurance policies.
Caller pushing scam life insurance.
A life insurance broker who got my details from Compare the Market, despite me opting out of contact. They already had loads of my info from the site. It's legit, and I had a decent chat with the guy, but he's way too pushy. Rings me 5-6 times a day plus emails to get me to sign up for insurance... Might've considered it if it wasn't verging on harassment.
Inquired regarding life insurance, possessed an alarming level of personal details, quite unnerving! Seemed entirely legitimate, followed up on insurance matters, and kept at it. Apologies, but no more responses from me & puzzled over how they obtained my name, contact, policy info, and remaining mortgage amount!
Got two more missed calls on my mobile—neither left a message. Probably some kind of scam. Fed up with these constant rings
Questioned these crooks about finding employment, and they replied why bother working when they're raking in millions this way. Absolute lowlifes. They bombard with calls, texts, emails, and bogus mail nearly daily, impersonating different firms, and online browsing is plagued by their scam-driven adverts.
Similar to what someone else said, I got a life insurance quote via CompareTheMarket and I definitely (absolutely) selected the no-contact option. Still received the call.
Rang my landline but left no voicemail and went unanswered.
Claimed to be following up on my recent life insurance query via Compare the Market. I had indeed searched there within the past two days, but I believe I opted out of phone contact, so I'll block given the reviews on this site.
