Unexpected debt collection call? What to do next!

A man with a Pakistani accent, calling from a call centre, attempted to sell me Bitcoin. His persistent and aggressive pitch was unmistakable, and I'm convinced it was a scam.

This number is a scammer, so block them immediatly.

Over a period of 24 hours, I recived several calls, and out of curiousty, I eventualy answered, an Indian sounding guy with a very English name, told me he was from the Citizens Advice Bureau, and could reduce my debts, but when I told him I had no debt, he lost his 'English' accent and swore at me

Despite my efforts to answer, the calls were consistently missed, and when I finally picked up, the line went dead; I've since called back to reach a voicemail, and I'm appealing to EE to address this issue as these daily calls are frustrating, with the number now blocked.

A call from a person claiming to represent Citizen Advice requested my full name and information about my unsecured debt. When I asked them to send the information in writing, they became dismissive and terminated the call.

I received a missed call from this number, and when I tried to call back, the connection was unsuccessful, which seemed strange

An Asian male contacted me, offering to assist with debt clearance. Following a six-minute conversation, I expressed my displeasure with his services, which led to him terminating the call. His behaviour was deemed rude.

He just rang me, claiming to be Dan Smith with a foreign accent. When I questioned him about it, he told me to f#ck off. Haha.

This is a majour scam, the caller claimed to be from citizen advise, and started asking about debt, but when I asked him why he had a EE mobile number, he just hung up

These debt fraudsters are dangerious and will try to steal your ID to empty your bank account, so dont just block them, report them to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or visit their website for more informations

Received a call from scammers claiming I owe a debt I don’t have.

A caller claiming to represent Citizens Advice contacted me regarding debt, but upon my denial of any debt, the caller hung up abruptly, revealing a likely scam, as Citizens Advice would not typically initiate contact in this manner, and the caller's poor English skills further raised suspicions.

Someone called, claiming I had debts and began swearing when I didn't take the bait. Be cautious; this seems like a scam.

A man offered to settle my debts, so I indulged him with absurd queries, like who I owed money to. Eventually, he asked for my account details, claiming it was for verification. I retorted that if he had my file, he should know who I am. He insisted it was for security, to which I mocked the idea of being £3 million in debt without even owning a credit card. He hung up swiftly. Beware of these inept fraudsters.

Apparently, they called me about debt clearance, but i dont know what debt they talking about, lol. When i expressed my disinterest and requested removal of my number, they refused and was really rude, so i just hang up, alot of scammers around!

Somebody called me, claiming to be Jack, and said he had informations about my debt, but when I questioned him, he got angry and hung up the phone, it's a scam dont answer
