Hackers targeted my Facebook and other accounts; it seemed legitimate. Unsure if I can recover my profile since they've enabled two-factor authentication! Extremely risky – it appears utterly authentic.

Multiple messages have been received from this number, instructing me to unlock my Facebook account, which was locked out on 13 December, and these messages appear on WhatsApp, purportedly from a Facebook business account.

The caller attempted to deceive me by pretending to be from Facebook, complete with a fake Facebook logo, in an effort to reset my password.

Scam alert: this number tries to trick you into providing a code, which would allow a third party to reset your Facebook password and gain unauthorized access.

Avoid responding; simply delete the message, block the number, and report it as a scam.

Having received a Facebook notification about a new access code, which is suspicious given that my account was hacked and blocked a year ago, I have reported this number to Whatsapp and blocked it, convinced it's a scam.
