If you get a call claiming your Netflix account is blocked, it’s almost certainly a scam. Legitimate services will never ask for personal details or payment over the phone. Hang up straight away and, if you do use Netflix, check your account directly via the official app or website. Never share passwords, credit‑card numbers or OTPs with unsolicited callers. You can also block the number on your phone and report it to the Information Commissioner's Office. Staying sceptical and verifying through official channels is the best defence against these dangerous calls.
