Scammer from India pretending to be from '3' - the UK telecom provider - pushing bogus sim card packages.

A person rang from 3 pushing me to switch my phone deal. Insistent and refused to accept my refusal. Clearly a con. Creepily, they knew my complete name though.
Rang me twice today, said they were from UK Three and knew my name. I've never been with Three – scam, don't get suckered!

Pure scam! For handling these fraud tries, the gov with police and OfCom created a reporting setup. Not hyped enough, and Action Fraud site's only got bits of the how-to. Anyway: SMS the call info to 7726. Look for a reply since you might need to verify. Pass on scam texts to 7726 too, and chuck a screenshot or copy via email to '

They knew my details and said they were from Three Mobile, a service I've never used. Phoned five times today; I only picked up the final one to shout at them to quit. Clearly fraudulent.
