Allegedly from British Gas Business, sounded legit enough, but I said I was tied up and to ring tomorrow. Cheers to Who Called Me – now I'll tell the sod to sod off!

Caller from Savanta, mentioning my Scottish Widows contact. Knew my full name, so I searched online and hung up. Blocked now!
An individual named CLAUDIA SAVANTA rang my mum who's elderly, pretending to be from TSB for a survey. She knew my mum's complete name. It's deeply disturbing and has really upset her. Fortunately, I happened to be there. Block this number please!!
They rang claiming a survey from an insurer I don't use. Blocked the line.
Rang today. Didn't recognise it, so voicemail screened it. Nothing recorded. Checked here and spotted scam reports, now blocked.
Daily calls for several days now. No voicemails left.
Over the last few days, I've had loads of spam calls from this number, but that hasn't stopped them leaving these long, silent voicemails. I checked out Savanta online—their contact is 0207 632 3434. Chatted to customer service (option 3 for anything else), sounded proper British, and asked them to scrub my number 'cause those voicemails are a right pain. He tried to dodge it at first, saying they only have an 020 number, not 0800, but when I pushed back, he backed down, promised to pass it to the team for a look, and said sorry for the hassle. If it's not them, they ought to know about calls pretending to be from them, so maybe we should bombard them with reports on their own lines or fake ones.
A gentleman from India introduced himself as Savanta representative conducting client opinion polls for power providers. I informed him he'd need to send an email (as I’m with a major law practice), but he insisted on a direct conversation. I apologised, stating we couldn't assist, then ended and barred the contact.
Persistent calls quoting my name, pretending to be British Gas. Three times daily since 27/2/25. Blocking this number now
Didn't know the number, so ignored it. Checked on Who Called Me and loads of folks have slated it as a scam survey.
Today at work, a woman's voice named Sophie Lock from Savanta called for my boss by name, inquiring about British Gas services. I suspect AI voice tech - there were consistent pauses after I spoke, always the same duration. Warning others, as it might fool the elderly or less tech-aware folks
Since Thursday, February 13th, this phone has been ringing roughly four times each day. They're asking for my spouse. I've blocked it on the home line, yet it still shows up as a missed call. The initial time they rang, I mentioned he was working, since folks typically do from Monday to Friday, but they persist in calling during daytime hours.
Since last Thursday the 13th of Feb, this line has buzzed four times daily. They're after my spouse. I've barred it on the landline, though it still shows as missed. First call, I said he was working—like folks do weekdays—but they keep ringing daytime anyway.
Het is duidelijk een oplichterij - slechte geluidskwaliteit, hoewel ze wel mijn naam noemden.
"Hello can I speak with [gave my correct name]. I'm calling from British Gas looking to do an energy survey." I said no and they hung up. Checked google and it looks like they are pretending to be from your energy company or bank and will try to get all details out of you.
During the call, they mentioned a survey related to Lloyds Bank and addressed me by my surname, but I ended the conversation prematurely

Over two days, I received two calls from this number; a woman with an eastern European accent claimed to be from my bank, asking me to participate in a survey, which I found quite perplexing
The callers are extremly persistant and harrassing.
I've also been contacted by this number. A British or Asian man, possibly using a voice changer, asked about a Scottish Widows survey. I'm cautious after nearly being scammed before. Don't bother answering; just ignore and block!
A suspicious call from someone claiming to be from Savanta, inquiring about my interaction with Scottish Widows, left me feeling uneasy as they knew my full name
This number has rung four times over three days, but I haven't answered.
