Survey for students I ain't doing. They keep phoning even after I said knock it off.
Dodgy Calls from Unknown Survey Firm
Summary — +448001244876
Expert Opinion
Surprisingly, this number sparks a right mix of suspicion and legitimacy among callers, with many decrying relentless survey hounds while others spot genuine market research efforts. Predominantly linked to Ipsos MORI, it's phoning students for uni feedback or general questionnaires, but dodgy HMRC pretenders have slipped in, nicking cash from the unwary. Persistence is the real bugbear—folks report barrages of calls, even post-no thanks. Block it outright if you're not keen, and never spill personal details to unknowns. Register with TPS to curb nuisances, and always verify via official channels before chatting. Stay sharp to dodge the scam traps amid the legit polls.

Device alerted me to possible fraudster; I picked up anyway, and the bloke knew my identity. Not keen on playing along with a likely con, I stayed mute on the line. He disconnected quickly without identifying himself or his purpose.
Fraud alert
Posed as a representative from a firm linked to the University of Hull, then requested my student ID and birth date.
This number is genuine, but they keep pestering you relentlessly, even after you clearly decline their survey and demand they cease contact—despite promising to do so.
If you're in your last year at uni, expect a ring from Ipsos on behalf of the NSS—nothing to worry about.
University feedback request. Numerous calls from unfamiliar numbers in recent days, so I'm viewing this as suspicious, though I know I'm getting many emails for a student questionnaire
Fired off a query on their site asking who the heck they are and to sod off for good.
Hoax, claimed call from Staffs Uni about an online service evaluation
The call was unexpected and the identity of the caller was unknown, making it prudent to exercise caution
A woman called claiming to know where I study, but my university already has my details and wouldnt ask for them over the phone. She said it was a survey about my course, but she didnt know what course I'm taking. My school would email us if they needed anything, not call. Be cautious and dont share your information.
Apparently Ipsos mori
A man from Ipsos called to ask about completing a university questionnaire. They knew my name and university. They’ve called about 5 times in the past few days, so I searched the number and was cautious, not completing the survey or giving any information. Not sure if it’s genuine.
In the past 8 days, this number has called me 10 times, I have blocked 3 other numbers, all of which are allegedly ipsos mori, this is getting out of hand and nobody seems to be doing enought about it, so GET THE HINT and #### OFF!
This number is associated with IPSOS, who are conducting an NSS survey.
Ipsos MORI survey call.
This number has called twice, but I didn't pick up on either occasion.
A polite call for a questionnaire, with no need for personal details. Ipsos MORI conducted the survey.
NCS won’t stop ringing me
A man claimed to be from the National Career Service, but I replied it was late for an official body to call. I was unsure who it was. He accepted and said we'll call again at a convinient time.
FFS, how many numbers do these people need? Of course I want them to call me five times a day since I don't answer. With all the landlines being cut off and 3G being phased out, maybe we should just scrap the whole phone system since only idiots call anymore
This number called in May 2024, adding to the numerous cold calls I’ve received about double glazing and driveways. I don’t want these calls, despite your claims of being immune to TPS.
Just another scam caller; not in my contacts, so I did'nt answer.
Ridiculous ####.
This call was about a survey regarding an appointment from months ago, the gentleman were polite and asked about the National Careers Service.
Received a call on our landline, which is PS registered. Couldn't make out who the caller represented, but when they asked me to participate in market research, I declined.
Extreemly anoying, they've rang me multiple times and ALL their lines should be oficially disconected
This number has been blocked due to persistent calls
This number called my mobile four times, once on 11th May, twice on 12th May, and again on 13th May. I didn’t answer, and no message was left. After reading reports here, I’ve now blocked and deleted the number.
Never heard of Ipsos MORI until checking the number here. The name sounds dodgy, so I've blocked it.
