Summary — +44800595000
Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +44 80059500 claiming to be HMRC, treat it with caution. The majority of reports describe a robocall scam where the caller pretends to be a tax officer, threatens arrest, and demands immediate payment. Hang up straight away, never share personal or banking details, and verify any alleged tax issue by calling the official HMRC number yourself. You can also block the number on your handset or report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Legitimate HMRC communications are always written, never demand cash over the phone, and will give you time to check.
