A Scottish individual has been calling my 11-year-old daily, inquiring about the caller's identity despite already knowing the recipient. This behavior is not only annoying but also inappropriate, prompting a firm rebuke.
They represent a debt collection agency that banks use to sell off debts when customers fall behind. PRA debt collectors will call to propose a settlement to pay off the remaining debt at a discounted rate, which can be either advantageous or not, depending on the offer. These calls persist daily for about a week before they cease for a few months if there's no response.
Despite being statute barred, PRA Group continues to contact me regarding a debt from over 14 years ago; I've reported them to the relevant authorities, but the calls persist.
I chose not to answer, but after seeing the comments, it's clear this is NOT the number for PRA; it must be some unscrupulous individuals spamming their customers.
Beware of these unscrupulous indivudals who are engaging in debt scamming tactics, resembling Shylocks, it's essential to block them and refrain from providing any financial informtion, collecitively we can outsmart them and protct ourselves from thease scammers.
