Carphone Warehouse‑style scam calls – how to stop them!
Summary — +448454500245
Expert Opinion
Clearly, the +44 84545 00245 line is being exploited for persistent spam calls that often masquerade as reputable brands. Callers repeatedly ask about banking details, offer bogus tax‑saving schemes or impersonate companies such as Carphone Warehouse, Tesco or Zurich, making the interaction feel unsafe. Scam behaviour is evident from the vague scripts and the use of a shared‑cost number designed to verify your mobile’s activity. To protect yourself, let unknown numbers go to voicemail, block the source promptly, and never disclose personal or financial information. If a call sounds suspicious, hang up and report the number to your provider or the national fraud helpline.

Whilst I was working, this number interupted me with a call, I didnt answer it, later I investigated and Google said it was associated with Fed-Ex tracking service, which I found puzzling, so I called it back and got a recorded message saying it was a research agency, after some more investigation I found out that others had been bothered by it and that whoever these people are, they are claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, which I doubt, only two minits later I got another nuisance call from a witheld number
