This is a scam. They mocked me when I challenged them, claiming they're financially thriving and unaffected by the cost of living crisis, having bought a new Mercedes Benz since no one stops them. The police advised me to raise awareness on social media to inform others. They've stolen hundreds of thousands of pounds recently.
A link to update my card details and confirm a reservation was sent to me by these individuals, who had gained access to my booking.com page. Unbeknownst to me at the time, they were hackers. Fortunately, my bank flagged the attempted £600 transaction and contacted me, prompting me to block my card and request a new one. Subsequently, I received calls from a Hong Kong number, 0085230775529, which I also blocked. It is essential to exercise caution and be aware of such scams.
