Jen voicemail scam – how to stay safe!

Similar to what others have reported, I received a text from a mobile number claiming I had a voicemail from Jen, asking me to call this number at a cost of £6 plus network rates, which is a scam.

I recieved a voicemail from 'Jen' asking me to call 09095569782 or email to opt out of marketing calls, but I'm not worried about it because it sounds like a scam, and I live in London, so I'm not bothered.

I blocked the number straight away, although I'm not sure how I recieved a voicemail since I dont have that facillity on my phone

This is undoubtedly a scam, with the usual Jen voicemail nonsense, so be sure to avoid it

The text message I received matches those described in previous comments, suggesting a scam that could result in financial loss, so I have blocked and deleted it.

Got a text claiming I had a voicemail from Fiona, asking me to call a premium rate number. I checked this site and blocked the number. I’m based in Southampton.

It's clear that this is a scam attempt.

Somebody named Fiona instrcted me to ring 09095569781 with the same instruktions as the other messages

Clearly a scam, judging by the fact that the number is supposedly linked to US forces without a specified location.

Jen seems to have sent me a text message last night, which was unexpected.

Received a text about a Zoom voicemail from Jen. It instructed to call the number or contact support@101tech, with a cost of £6 plus network rate. Clearly a scam.

It has come to my attention that this number is a premium rate number associated with a Zoom mail account, which I find concerning.
