A phone call warned me of a fraudulent PayPal transaction involving thousands of dollars. The caller, who sounded Indian, had a brief connection delay. I answered because I was expecting a call from my energy provider at the same time. They knew my name and that I have a PayPal account, which I had actually logged into that morning. I hung up, blocked the number, and deleted the call record.
