It appearently this scammer has been active since 2021, they made several unauthorised transactions from my bank account, includin Facebk Ads, definately a scammer.
Despite not receiving a call from this number, our credit card was still compromised, with $1300 AUD in fraudulent charges. The bank's failure to block this known scammer is deeply frustrating, and we urge others to exercise caution.
A substantial loss of $1300 occurred due to fraudulent Facebook transactions in New Zealand currency, despite our account being in AUD with ING. The bank and credit card company were notified, resulting in the cancellation of our cards. It is alarming that ING did not detect these suspicious charges sooner.
