The caller claimed to be from St George Bank, it's a legitamate number, in my experiance, they were contacting me regarding a complaint I had filed while abroad, aparently they share this number with other banks, it would be more secure if they used private internet banking messaging, especally with all the scam calls lately, alot of them are bloody anoying.
