Multiple calls have been received in Australia from numbers starting with 20, 21, 22 and 23. All appear to be scam or entrapment attempts, often claiming to be from VISA‑Mastercard about alleged transactions or from Telstra about internet issues. Numbers beginning with 23 do not actually exist, while the others belong to legitimate mobile carriers. Calls from New Zealand are now automatically ignored, as the country does not regulate the use of its telephone numbers.
