Sberbank spoof calls: how to spot the scam
Summary — +78007070070
Expert Opinion
Avoid answering any call from +78007070070 that claims to be Sberbank, as the overwhelming majority of reports label it a scam. Callers frequently impersonate bank security staff, use personal details, and push urgent actions like loan refinancing or document verification. Because the number is not listed among Sberbank’s official lines (900, 8 800 555‑55‑50, etc.), treat the call as suspicious. Never share personal identifiers, card numbers, or passwords over the phone, and hang up if the conversation turns vague or pressure‑filled. Register the number in your phone’s call blocker or a trusted spam‑filtering app, and report the incident to the bank’s official abuse channel. If you need to confirm a legitimate request, call the bank back on its published numbers before taking any action.
