I had the same experiance, a man with an indian accent call me from a different number, trying to convince me that he is from Microsoft.
Upon receiving a call from the same number, which originated from the Netherlands, the caller would frequently hang up, and on one occasion, they inquired about the presence of Windows, claiming a computer issue existed, demonstrating suspicious behavior, particularly when encountering a male voice, and even addressed the recipient by their last name.
