Expert Opinion
Recent patterns show this number is repeatedly used in scripted scams that pose as legal or debt‑collection threats. Callers reference bogus case numbers, civil actions, or document‑delivery services to pressure victims into sharing personal data or paying fees. The hallmark is a vague "process server" or "investigation" claim, often followed by a request to call another toll‑free line. To protect yourself, let the call go to voicemail, capture the exact wording, date, and time, then block the number and report it to local law enforcement and the FTC. Avoid clicking any links or returning calls to unfamiliar numbers.
