NCC debt collector calls at 11 AM – what to do?
Summary — +15402026868
Expert Opinion
Recent call logs show a pattern of repeated ring‑downs around 11 AM from the same number, often with the caller claiming to represent NCC. The script typically asks for personal details like name, address, or even a license‑plate number before hanging up when pressed for identification. Debt collectors frequently use vague verification tactics to pressure recipients, but legitimate agencies must provide clear contact information and a written validation notice. If you receive such a call, let the caller know you’ll request written proof, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your state’s consumer protection office. Never share sensitive data without confirmation.
