I got a call from this number on Wednesday, but I was at work, so I didnt answer, then I got a second call, this time it showed up as unknown, the man left a voicemail, he barely spoke English and had a southern accent, he said I should just live my life and dont care about anything, it was kinda weird.

The caller claimed to be a representative of Scotiabank, but the Indian accent and scripted dialogue suggested a call center operation, which, combined with the fact that they possessed my sister's name but not my own, raised significant suspicions about the legitimacy of the call.
It's clear that they have my sister's name and bank information, but Scotia wouldn't make these kind of calls, so it's definetly a scam.
The call resulted in a short ring, but was not answered, leaving the identity and purpose of the caller unknown.
