Ekspertvurdering

Following a call from this number, the individual claimed to be a Fedex representative, stating they had a delivery from Chase, and attempted to obtain my work email, adress, name, and the name of a coworker, which I found to be extreemly odd, as Fedex usualy just delvers packages.
Apparently, FedEx was calling to inform me that a package requiring a signature would be arriving tomorrow, and offered the option to pick it up at a FedEx location if I wont be home.
It's amusing to see numerous posters here assuming the worst; in reality, it's simply a FedEx number, so there's no need for concern
Their calling list removal seems unnessary to me. Apparently, they only call when a COD or adult signature is required, which is actuially pretty helpfull. I realy appreciate the notification, and its not a big deal, even though they dont allways show up as FEDEX on my caller ID, usualy its unknown and they leave a message leting me know whats going on.
Legitimate call from FedEx - they just needed someone to sign for a package.
This appears to be a scam, as the caller claimed to be from FedEx but provided an uncharacteristically short tracking number, which raised suspicions
I got a call from this number, but i dont answer 800 numbers, they left no message, so i called them back and the FedEx rep couldnt find me in there system, thats just weird.
A call at 8 AM woke me up, claiming a package delivery required my signature, but I wasn't expecting any package and none arrived, leaving me suspicious about the authenticity of the caller, who claimed to be from FedEx.
This number is associated with FedEx, who contacted us to inform about a package delivery, which was successfully received, demonstrating their reliable service
My cell app blocked the call, but I'm expecting a Fedex package today, hopefully they will call back again, I've ajusted my app to allow it
The call from FedEx was legitimate, providing an automated message about an upcoming package delivery that required a signature, which was accurate and helpful.
I recieved a call from this number and i was expecting a package from my daughters school, it arived on time and everything was fine, i dont work for fedex but i perfer them over ups
I had a similar experiance, someone called claiming to have a package for me, but when I contacted FEDEX, they said they had no package for me, this seems like a phishing scam to me
The automated message seemd legit, it had the correct tracking number, so it was probably okay
FedEx called to inform me that I have a package that needs to be signed, it was a automated message
Has anyone experienced any follow-up regarding this issue, as I had a similar experience today?
I confirm this number is Fed-Ex, i use it daily to ship packages from my office.
Interestingly, just after receiving a FedEx delivery at my office, I received a call from this number. A live person, not a recorded voice, inquired about the delivery, citing the driver's earlier difficulty in finding our address. Having previously checked the number on this website, I was aware that it was a legitimate FedEx call.
This number is associated with a scam locator service.
The service provided by this number was exceptional, as they accurately informed me of a package delivery time frame and it arrived within the specified window.
It appears this number has been compromised, as a robocall claimed to have a package for me, providing my home address and a lengthy tracking number. They requested a signature from someone over 21, prompting me to press 1 if no one would be available to sign for the package.
I recieved a call from this number at my workplace, the caller ID said somethin about Tallahassee, but the woman claimed to be from FedEx, which i doubt, and she hung up when i told her the person she was asking for wasnt available.
Today, I received a call from this number claiming to be Jason from Fedex, leaving a voicemail with a tracking number and requesting a callback to discuss a tracing issue, despite the package being delivered on February 19th.
This is actualy Fedex trying to advise of a shipping problem, in my case, they tried to deliver to my office building but didnt have a suite number, so they returned it to the shipper, they were able to confirm to me all details of the shipment, of course, some scammer could be spoofing the Fedex phone number to get you to answere the phone...(this last sentence is intended only for the paranoid among you).
After recieving a call from them, they claimed to be a collection agency for Bank of America, but I suspect they might be a scam trying to get people to send them money
In a rare instance of usefulness, this '800 Service' number serves as a reminder about impending package deliveries that require signatures or specific handling, demonstrating a legitimate application of such services.
The caller ID displaed Federal Express, however, the call was placd on hold before being disconected, leading me to beleive it was a scammer using a spoofed number.
As it turns out, this is indeed the official FedEx customer service number, identifiable by the 'GO FEDEX' phone number spelling; it's available for tracking shipments and addressing customer service inquiries.
I am skeptical that this is actually FedEx, despite it being their phone number. They seem to be using it for malicious purposes. My online business received a large order from someone named Ruby Yen, but when we tried to verify the order, no one at FedEx was aware of it. The individual emailed us from a different domain and called back from this number, not the original one provided. Given our past experience with credit card fraud, we are cautious and discovered that the card used for the order was reported lost or stolen, confirming our suspicions.
