Following a call from this number, the individual claimed to be a Fedex representative, stating they had a delivery from Chase, and attempted to obtain my work email, adress, name, and the name of a coworker, which I found to be extreemly odd, as Fedex usualy just delvers packages.
Apparently, FedEx was calling to inform me that a package requiring a signature would be arriving tomorrow, and offered the option to pick it up at a FedEx location if I wont be home.
It's amusing to see numerous posters here assuming the worst; in reality, it's simply a FedEx number, so there's no need for concern
Their calling list removal seems unnessary to me. Apparently, they only call when a COD or adult signature is required, which is actuially pretty helpfull. I realy appreciate the notification, and its not a big deal, even though they dont allways show up as FEDEX on my caller ID, usualy its unknown and they leave a message leting me know whats going on.

Interestingly, just after receiving a FedEx delivery at my office, I received a call from this number. A live person, not a recorded voice, inquired about the delivery, citing the driver's earlier difficulty in finding our address. Having previously checked the number on this website, I was aware that it was a legitimate FedEx call.

I recieved a call from this number at my workplace, the caller ID said somethin about Tallahassee, but the woman claimed to be from FedEx, which i doubt, and she hung up when i told her the person she was asking for wasnt available.
Today, I received a call from this number claiming to be Jason from Fedex, leaving a voicemail with a tracking number and requesting a callback to discuss a tracing issue, despite the package being delivered on February 19th.
This is actualy Fedex trying to advise of a shipping problem, in my case, they tried to deliver to my office building but didnt have a suite number, so they returned it to the shipper, they were able to confirm to me all details of the shipment, of course, some scammer could be spoofing the Fedex phone number to get you to answere the phone...(this last sentence is intended only for the paranoid among you).

I am skeptical that this is actually FedEx, despite it being their phone number. They seem to be using it for malicious purposes. My online business received a large order from someone named Ruby Yen, but when we tried to verify the order, no one at FedEx was aware of it. The individual emailed us from a different domain and called back from this number, not the original one provided. Given our past experience with credit card fraud, we are cautious and discovered that the card used for the order was reported lost or stolen, confirming our suspicions.
