Xcel Energy collection calls: what to watch for!
Summary — +18008952333
Expert Opinion
Recent call logs reveal a surge of inbound messages from the 800‑895‑2333 line claiming to be Xcel Energy. Most callers request personal data or payment info, often framing the contact as a collection effort. While a few users confirmed the number belongs to Xcel’s authorized third‑party agency, many reports describe aggressive scripts and auto‑dialing that feel suspicious. To stay safe, never share Social Security digits or full credit‑card numbers over the phone, verify the number on Xcel’s official website, and hang up if the script seems off. If you suspect fraud, report it to Xcel’s fraud department or the FTC.
