TCR debt collector calls—how to stop the harassment!
Summary — +18553311891
Expert Opinion
Repeatedly hearing a voice claim you owe money and urging you to call back is the hallmark of the TCR collection effort tied to Bell Canada accounts. The pattern—automated reminders, a reference number, and a pressure to speak with “Mme Reese” or a similar contact—matches known debt‑collection harassment tactics. Callers often hide their true identity behind vague company names like “TCR” or “TCR — collection agency.” Protect yourself by asking for written verification, checking your credit report, and filing a complaint with the CRTC or your provincial consumer protection office. Ignoring the call is safe, but never share personal data without proof.
