Survey calls from a research institute – what to do!
Summary — +18779318399
Expert Opinion
Block the 877‑931‑8399 calls immediately if you’re on a Do‑Not‑Call list. These outbound numbers are most often tied to a market‑research firm that runs survey scripts about banking, utilities, or consumer satisfaction. Even when the caller claims to represent an institute or a utility, treat the call as unverified and never hand over personal information such as your name, address, or financial details. Add the number to your carrier’s blocklist, report it to the FTC or your local consumer‑protection agency, and consider using a third‑party call‑filtering app. If the call seems legitimate, request a written verification before engaging further.
