Falska Amazon-samtal – varning!

An automated call was made regarding alleged unauthorized charges.

The caller's claims were completely nonsensical, stating that someone had ordered an iPhone and that I needed to visit a link to receive credit, which raised major red flags, especially since I was using my work computer and it was blocked, prompting them to hang up when their scam didn't go as planned, and a subsequent call to Amazon's customer service confirmed that it was indeed a scam.

A charge of $749 for an iPhone was made to my account, and to resolve this, I was instructed to call this number, which appears to be a scam as they did not respond.

This is a fraudulent call

A claim was made about an unauthorized iPhone purchase on an Amazon account, and the caller requested to stay on the line

According to reports, this number has been linked to an Amazon customer service scam, where fraudsters pose as representatives and ask for sensitive financial information, including bank account and credit card details, and should be treated with caution.

Some person claimed to be from amazon and told me ther was fraude activty on my account, but when i checked, ther was no trasactions what so ever.

A rapid-speaking automated female voice claimed that someone was attempting to make a large purchase on my Amazon account, prompting me to press 6 for assistance; however, after checking my account, I found no such activity, leading me to believe that the call was a scam, possibly using a spoofed number

This scammer used the amazon customer service number to call me, whats a compleat fake.

I recieved a scam call from a person claiming to be from amazon, wanting me to google something, but it was a compleat scam, beware of 1-888-280-4331.

A prerecorded message claimed to be from Amazon, stating that someone was trying to make a purchase on my account, but this was later found to be false.

This is clearly a scam, as there are no existing orders.

According to 411.com, this number is registred to a company in North York, but the call i recieved was a scam, claiming to be from Amazon

I got a scam call saying somebody made a purchse on my amazon account for a new iphone

The call raised suspicions immediately, given my lack of iPhone ownership and no recent Amazon orders; when they requested I use my computer, it was a clear warning sign to stop the call, leading me to investigate further and confirm it was a scam

The call purportedly related to an Amazon order for a $700 cell phone.

Apparently, they says somone bought an iPhone xr from Amazon and they want you to stay online

The caller appears to be incompetent.

Receiving an automated call claiming an iPhone 6 is on my account prompted me to press one to cancel or speak with a representative, but this led to a repeated message and eventually a dead line, suggesting a ploy to gather information.
