ERG debt collector scam? Protect yourself now!
Summary — +18886741169
Expert Opinion
Sounds like a scam, according to the texts you’ve received. The pattern – a vague case file, a pressure‑filled request to call a 888 number, and threats of escalation – matches common debt‑collector scams. Even if you’ve never owed anything, scammers rely on confusion and urgency. Never share personal or banking details over the phone, and avoid clicking any links they send. Verify any claim by contacting the alleged creditor directly using a trusted number, not the one in the message. Block the offending number, report it to the FTC and FCC, and consider a credit freeze if you suspect identity abuse.
