Might've just found a solution to control these calls since the goverment can't do much. Opened 'recent calls', selected their number, made a contact, and titled it 'scam'. Set a silent ringtone by recording 25 seconds of silence. Fingers crossed this works! If it does, I'll be pretty stoked with myself
Got like 20 calls from these scammers in 3 weeks. I never answer unknown numbers. Few times I did, no one was there. Called back, got a non-working number message. Latest call I told them to stop calling and the guy screemed 'no'. My phone's set to auto-reject this number, but they keep getting through

Folks, invest in a call blocking device. It's your best bet. These numbers originate in India and Pakistan, and they're straight-up scammers. There's no foolproof method to compleatly stop the calls, but you can try putting your ringer on silent. We do that at nite and it's been helpfull. Turning off the ringer in combo with the call blocker should help you avoid most of these anoying calls
