Surprise they know my name then hung up
Appliance warranty scam – how to spot the lie!
Summary — +441273655018
Expert Opinion
Like a persistent house‑guest who never leaves, this number keeps knocking on doors with promises of a free or renewed appliance warranty that never existed. The calls are vague, use a scripted accent, and immediately switch to asking for bank details or personal addresses – classic signs of a scam. If you receive such a call, hang up without sharing any information, block the number on your handset and add it to your provider’s blacklist. Report the incident to Action Fraud and, where possible, register your number with the Telephone Preference Service to reduce future nuisance calls. Always verify any warranty offers directly with the original provider before taking action.
