Expert Opinion
The number +447700900439 appears to be a common source of nuisance and potentially scam calls, often originating from call centres with callers having a noticeable Indian or Pakistani accent. These calls frequently masquerade as surveys or loan offers from entities like the "Savers Club," despite the caller's reluctance to provide clear identification. Many recipients report aggressive and repetitive behaviour, with some callers becoming hostile when challenged. Even numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) are not spared, indicating a blatant disregard for legal boundaries. If you receive a call from this number, do not engage. Hang up immediately and consider reporting the number to the TPS and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) to help curb these harassing practices.

During the call, a woman with an Indian accent, claiming to be from a Jersey-based call centre, informed me that a loan application had been approved, which is entirely false as no application was ever submitted.

An Asian Indian man wouldn't identify himself. Asked for someone who doesn't live here, whether I'm over 75, and about my endowment mortgage and phone provider. He didn't get the right info and kept saying the call was recorded for training, likely training scammers!!!
Upon receiving the call, it became apparent that the individual on the other end was attempting to deceive me, claiming to be from BT and stating that my internet would be inoperable for a month. I was instructed to position myself in front of my computer, supposedly to rectify the issue, but I terminated the call instead. The caller persisted, ringing back three more times in quick succession, and I ended the call immediately each time.
I have blocked this number, which appears to be associated with an Asian company
Upon answering the call, I was met with an Asian voice using profanity, and as a result, I've added the number to my auto-reject list.
This is a scam, apparently from the savers club, you can stop these calls by visiting a website, aparently
This is an unlawful call to a number listed on the telephone preference service. Why are these individuals not facing legal action for such harassment?
Today, I got a call from the so-called "Savers Club" who wanted to conduct a survey over the phone, but I told them I dont answer questions over the phone and hung up, as I've done before, and I wish they would listen and stop calling
A call was missed while I was out, and the voicemail contained incoherent mumbling; it seems they hoped I would return the call, but I will ignore any future attempts.
Over the course of a day, I received three calls from this number. Initially, I engaged with the caller, an Asian male, but after realizing it was a solicitation, I terminated the call. The subsequent calls resulted in silence when answered.

This number calls frequently, and I hang up each time. Be cautious of these calls.
An Asian-sounding individual provided a new name and address, stating it was about general household questions. I informed him I wouldn't answer any questions and asked if I was under 65. He seemed persistent, but I made it clear I wouldn't divulge any information before hanging up.
When I informed the caller that we didnt know the person they were asking for, they became aggressive and threatened to involve the police before hanging up, which was quite alarming
Recieved multiple calls from the 'savers club' asking for personal details, got called 8 times in one night, absolutly rediculous
A woman with an Indian accent tried to sell me a Savers Club. I blocked it instantly with my CPR Call Blocker. No more calls from them.
Received a call at 6:15 PM on a bank holiday from an Asian-sounding man. He asked if I was 'Mrs [X],' which I'm not, so I replied no. He then inquired if I was a family member. When I asked who he was, he claimed to be [English male name, which I can't remember] from The Savers Club. He offered to call back later, but I declined and hung up. We're registered with TPS, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Definitely frustrating!

The caller was unclear, and I couldn't understand anything. I blocked the number, but they'll probably try another number.

A message alert popped up on my phone, creating a wave of excitement. However, it turned out to be completely quiet. What a letdown. I appreciate the information you all provided about what I missed. Such bothersome interruptions.
Today, I received a call from Savers Club claiming it wasn't a sales call and that they simply wanted to ask a few questions. Upon hearing the caller fumbling for my postcode, I decided to hang up. He called back, and I hung up once more. After three consecutive calls that I ignored, I mentioned reporting them to TPS, but he disregarded my warning and stated he would continue calling until I answered his inquiries.
I was contacted by the Savers Club, and despite informing the Indian representative that I was registered with the TPS, he continued to request personal information, talking over me. I had to hang up multiple times, and he called back repeatedly, which I found to be harassment.
The Savers Club seems highly suspicious.
An individual claiming to be Warren from Savers Club persistently avoided disclosing his actual organization, insisting solely on mentioning Savers Club. Upon expressing disinterest and questioning his identity, it dawned on me that the call was unlawful, given the concealed UK mobile number. I urge everyone to report such incidents on the ICO website.
Brief, unclear voice from 0770090439, then noise. Number visible, likely wanted callback. Doubt it's accidental. Consider this caller risky.
