They claim to be united utilities but want my address
A call from United Utilities was verified as legitimate, but the call itself seemed pointless.
Someone sent a text to my son’s phone about an unpaid United Utilities bill. He doesn’t even have a bill since he lives with us. It’s definitely a scam.
A caller claiming to be Richard Moore from Santander's fraud team informed me of a suspicious payment from my account to Google Pay in Aberdeen, which raised my suspicions, especially when he hung up after I requested confirmation of his identity via email.
I got a letter from Untied Utilities about a new payment plan requiring £23 weekly. I explained I don't use a bank and pay differently, as I lack a bank account. They said they'd investigate and hung up while instructing me to stay on the line. They've also called about missed payments, which aren't missed, and asked for bank details again.
It has been confirmed that this number belongs to United Utilities.

I recieved a call from this number, I answered and said hello but ther was no response, they just put the phone down without leaving a message or voise, it seem very dodgy to me so I will block this number!
