I have been recieving numerous calls from this number, the person on the other end is hard to understand due to background noise and poor english, he claims to be Officer Jose Garcia, but I beleive it's a scam.

I've also been dealing with these calls; when they reach me at work, I remain silent, but at home, I use a whistle to respond, hoping they'll get the message or tire of the headache, and I wish the authorities would take more aggressive action to stop these calls.

I had a similar experience with a company called Marcello & Camarillo, which claimed to be a mediation service; they used intimidation tactics, mentioning the DA's office, court filings, and fraud, and demanded payment by debit or credit card, but when I asked for the name of the payday loan company they were supposedly representing, they were unable to provide it; the number that appeared on my caller ID was either 1-800-642-1084 or Restricted, and the person I spoke with claimed to be Owen Shore

Joshua Black contacted me a couple of weeks ago and again today, claiming I had an outstanding loan, but after verifying the information with my bank and the loan company, I confirmed that the loan had been paid off and informed him that I would not be sending any money.
