Similar to the previous comment, i had same experience:
Scam callers pretending to be process servers – what to do!
Summary — +18886163223
Expert Opinion
These calls are almost certainly a scam. Callers masquerade as process servers or legal firms, citing sealed files, pending lawsuits, or urgent complaints to create pressure. They often mention a docket number, a “certified document,” or a debt with a fictitious creditor like “Meta Bank” to lure victims into paying fees. Because legitimate process servers never negotiate fees over the phone, any demand for money or personal IDs should raise red flags. Hang up, verify the claim with the actual court or creditor, and never share banking or ID information. Report the number to the FTC and your carrier to help block future attempts.

A caller claimed I owed a debt to a company called Meta bank, providing false information and unrealistic timelines for resolution.
My experience mirrors the previous description, with the same sequence of events unfolding.
My mom recived a call from this number, they were asking for me and it seems like a scam
A message was left stating this was a follow-up attempt to address a complaint supposedly related to me, with a warning that formal documents would be sent if I didn't respond.
The caller claimed to represent Fulton County, stating that we had been notified and should call back regarding a specific docket number, but the individual I spoke with seemed untrustworthy, prompting me to end the call.
Apparently, they claim to have recieved a Fax document or that some sort of complaint has “arrived at ther desk” and that there is a pending legal matter or action about to be filed against you to creat the sence of urgency. They pretend to be a “process server” and cannot give you the particulars of the case since the file is sealed. This is simply a ruse to get you to call another number (often with a made-up case number) where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usualy pretends to be a lawyer).
Apparently, i need to contact this number to resolve some kind of complaint thats been filed against me.
Apparently, this number is the one I need to dial to resolve a complaint filed against me.
