This was a call from United Utilities. After initially declining, I returned the call and confirmed it was indeed them. My phone typically identifies spam calls, but it failed to do so this time, leading me to believe it is a legitimate number.

It’s not a fraud, it’s authentic. United Utilities, universal credit, increasing energy prices, and the pandemic still ongoing; they won’t give you any leeway. The same goes for TV licenses; if you don’t have it, you just don’t have it.
This number is reportedly associated with United Utilities, a water supplier.
The person claimed to be from my bank, following up on a suspicious transaction, but addressed me by a different name to the one on the account, clearly a scammer
